| 1 | Week 1 – Podcasting Overview and Educational Use
We
will provide a hands on overview of Podcasting and examples of how it
is being used in education plus create a plan for the Podcast each
participant will create and publish by the end of the series.

| 2 | Week 2 – Creating a Podcast with GarageBand Software (Part 1)
We
will focus on creating an Enhanced Podcast with GarageBand software
based on the plan created in Week 1. This will include gathering
digital photos from the Internet or digital camera and importing into
iPhoto software and working with iTunes music software. We will bring
all of these resources together in GarageBand and add a voice-over
track.

| 3 | Week 3 – Creating a Podcast with iMovie (Part 1)
We
will focus on creating a Podcast using iMovie software that contains
both video and still pictures, music, and a voice-over narration. We
will incorporate the use of iPhoto and iTunes acquired in earlier
sessions. This session will include how to add and edit video and still pictures plus add titles, transitions, and special effects.

| 4 | Week 4 – Creating a Podcast with iMovie (Part 2) and Podcast Publishing
This
session will focus on completing the iMovie Podcast and exporting a
Podcast ready for the web. Each participant will also publish their
GarageBand and iMovie created Podcasts to the Internet.
