The teacher portion of the website has been designed for all teachers to use when leading a class discussion. It is divided into eleven modules, with each module containing a variety of images and animations, which can be used to illustrate key concepts. The format consists of a page full of background information and large-sized links, allowing a teacher to easily select an image or animation, while engaging the students in discussion. These graphics should provide a teacher with the means to ask open-ended questions and allow students to enhance their understanding of earth science.

The student portion of the website will allow an individual student to explore earth science topics interactively in a fun and stimulating way. Not only will students have access to images and animations, but they will also be able to look at 3D images,
taken from researchers’ data. This project is currently in development.
