TeacherTECH Workshops
Each summer, the San Diego Supercomputer Center offers summer technology training workshops for K-12 educators on topics ranging from Computer Basics to Introduction to Web Design to Advanced Web Design. Our week long workshops are taught in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with expert instructors and plenty of assistance.
Shapes
Shapes is a program that was originally designed for scientific visualization. Instead of just using the normal X, Y axis, Shapes introduces the Z axis. In doing so, it allows you to create graphics and animate them so that they look like they are three dimensional (3D).

The primary goal of the LJIS training program is to provide an environment that develops scientists who are able to apply the quantitative methods of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science to the increasing number of Biological and Biomedical problems where such methods are critically needed.
