The Education Data Portal is created and maintained by the Education Group at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC). SDSC is responsible for the maintenance and administration of numerous data archives used by researchers all over the world.

This site is intended to foster an increased awareness and appreciation of these resources through the development of curriculum designed around those data archives that may be of specific value to K-16 educators and their students.

If you are interested in learning more about these data archives, feel free to create an account and browse the courses. Currently, we only have one course available for public viewing (Plankton Viz!!), but you may submit a request to gain access to other courses as they become available.
